The shirt was made to celebrate the centenary of Real Madrid. In this tournament Real Madrid was crowned champion.
Bio: Santiago Solari is an Argentine former player and coach. As a footballer he played midfielder. Make his debut as a professional in River Plate in 1996, making the leap to European football in 1999, when he signed for Atlético de Madrid. In 2000 he was transferred to Real Madrid, where he stayed for five seasons (2000-2005), in which he won two league titles, two Spanish Super Cups, one Champions League, one European Super Cup and one Intercontinental Cup. Throughout his time as a Real Madrid player, which coincided with the “Madrid de los Galácticos” was one of the usual players in the line-ups or coming off the bench.
