BIO: Nadir Belhadj is an Algerian left-back born in Saint-Claude, France, in 1982. After standing out at CS Sedan, he signed for Olympique Lyonnais in January 2007 and joined the squad for the 2007/08 season.
During his spell at Lyon, Belhadj competed in Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League, forming part of the squad that won the 2007/08 French league title. Although his time at the club was brief, it placed him within one of the strongest Lyon teams of that era, before he continued his career with RC Lens and later Portsmouth in England.
