Camiseta utilizada por Pablo Álvarez en una de las noches más inolvidables de la historia de Boca: el Superclásico ante River por la semifinal de vuelta de la Copa Libertadores 2004, el famoso día de la “gallinita” de Tevez.
En un Monumental colmado de tensión, Boca llevó la serie a los penales y eliminó a River en su propia cancha. Pablo Álvarez fue parte de esa definición histórica: con esta camiseta puesta, convirtió su penal y ayudó a Boca a alcanzar una nueva final de América.
Una reliquia xeneize cargada de épica, Superclásico y Copa Libertadores.
La camiseta pertenece a la colección del jugador quién la entrego a Matchday para ser subastada (ver fotos). La camiseta estuvo guardada en un cuadro por lo que tiene rastros de pegamento seco.

At a tense and packed Monumental, Boca took the series to penalties and eliminated River in their own stadium. Pablo Álvarez played his part in that historic shootout: wearing this shirt, he converted his penalty and helped Boca reach another Copa Libertadores final.

The jersey belongs to the player’s collection, and he donated it to Matchday for auction (see photos).
The shirt was stored in a frame, so it has traces of dried glue on it.

BIO: Pablo Sebastián Álvarez is a former Argentine footballer. He played as a left-back or right-back.
He played for clubs such as Boca Juniors, Estudiantes de La Plata, Catania, Rosario Central, Real Zaragoza, Racing Club, Huracán, and Arsenal de Sarandí.
He won two domestic titles (Boca Juniors and Estudiantes de La Plata) and one international title with Boca Juniors.
