The Pelé Cup, also known as the Masters World Cup or Over 35 Cup, was a World Cup (mini-World Cup) of masters football played between the late 1980s and mid-1990s.
Seniors or masters were football players between the ages of 35 and older who were no longer in activity.
In 1990 the tournament was modified for masters. In 1993 the tournament was organized by the “International Federation of Master Football”.
The first edition had Pelé as a guest, who played some minutes for Brazil.
Only 6 editions were played, the first three editions were held in Brazil, the fourth edition was held in the United States, the fifth edition was held in Austria and Italy, and the last one in Austria.
