BIO: Agustín Daniel Pelletieri is an Argentine footballer. He debuted in the Argentine First Division in 2003. In 2011, he signed with Racing Club for three seasons. On September 3, 2012, in the fifth round of the Torneo Inicial, he had to play the final minutes of his team’s 3-1 victory over San Martín de San Juan as goalkeeper due to the expulsion of Jorge De Olivera. During those minutes, he managed to save a penalty taken by Gastón Caprari. This made him the sixth outfield player to save a penalty in the Argentine First Division since the professional era began, and the second for Racing Club after Juan Carlos Cárdenas’ save against Roberto Gramajo of Rosario Central in 1971.
He scored his first goal for Racing against Argentinos Juniors in a 2-0 victory for La Academia. He scored again in Racing’s 2-0 victory against Boca Juniors.
