Observations:
The shirt belonged to the club’s kit man, Hugo Torrado, who worked at the club from 1960 to 1997. After his retirement as kit man, the shirt was acquired by an Independiente collector, who consigned it to Matchday Auctions to be auctioned.

BIO: Ricardo Enrique Bochini is a former Argentine footballer. He played his entire career at Independiente, from 1972 until his retirement in 1991.
He made his debut on June 25, 1972. At Independiente, he was a key figure in the club’s golden era, and he played a leading role in the competitions won during that time. Bochini had an exceptional career for a footballer, winning a huge number of national and international titles: with Independiente, he won four Copa Libertadores titles (1973, 1974, 1975, and 1984), three Copa Interamericana titles (1973, 1974, and 1976), two Intercontinental Cups (1973 and 1984), two Argentine Primera División championships (1983 and 1989), and two Argentine national championships (1977 and 1978).
With the Argentine national football team, he was an international player from 1973 to 1986, and won the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.
